1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
1 teaspoon coriander seeds
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
1 tablespoon kasuri methi
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon red chilli powder
1 tablespoon coriander powder
3 tablespoons mustard oil
1 cup curd
2 cups water
2 tablespoons desi ghee
1 medium onion
1/2 cup onion paste
1/2 cup tomato paste
2 cups gatta stock
1/4 cup coriander leaves

In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin seeds, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add water gradually to form a smooth dough. Roll the dough into cylindrical shapes (about 1 inch thick).

In a pot, bring water to a boil and add the rolled dough. Cook for about 10-15 minutes until they float to the surface. Remove and let cool.

Once cooled, cut the cooked dough into small pieces (about 1 inch long).

In a pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, and sauté for another minute.

Add the yogurt and mix well, cooking for a few minutes until the oil separates.

Add the gatta pieces to the pan and mix gently to coat them with the yogurt mixture.

Add garam masala and adjust salt to taste. Cook for another 5-7 minutes on low heat.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
