Over the centuries, it evolved into various forms, with the Ukrainian version often featuring a rich, creamy filling and a buttery crust. Traditionally enjoyed during celebrations and holidays, cheesecake remains a beloved dessert worldwide, with countless variations and flavors reflecting local tastes.

UAUAdessert
6 servings
Servings4
1 packet Marie Gold biscuits
5-6 tablespoons melted butter
100 grams paneer
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk powder
milk (as needed)
10-12 cashews
10-12 almonds
2-3 tablespoons melted chocolate
1/2 glass milk
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 tablespoon cornflour
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
butter (for ganache)
dark chocolate (optional)
1

Crush the Marie Gold biscuits into small pieces using a mixer until powdered without lumps.

2

Transfer the biscuit powder into a bowl and add 5-6 tablespoons of melted butter. Mix well.

3

Press the mixture into a glass bowl to form the base and set it in the fridge.

4

In a separate bowl, combine 100 grams of paneer, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup milk powder, and a little milk. Mix until a thick paste forms.

5

Set the paneer mixture into another bowl and refrigerate it.

6

Take the remaining biscuit powder and mix it with the paneer paste. Add powdered cashews and almonds (from 10-12 each) and 2-3 tablespoons of melted chocolate. Mix well, adding milk if the mixture is too thick.

7

Spread the mixture evenly on top of the biscuit base in the glass bowl.

8

To make the chocolate ganache, in a pan, combine 1/2 glass of milk, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1/2 tablespoon of cornflour, 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder, and a little butter. Turn on the gas at low flame.

9

Mix the ingredients in the pan and cook until it thickens, adding dark chocolate for flavor if desired.

10

Once thickened, turn off the gas and let it cool before spreading it over the cheesecake layer.
