Add 250 grams of ghee to the pan.

Add 100 grams of pure ghee and 150 grams of another type of ghee.

Add about 7 pieces of cardamom and roast on low heat until fragrant.

Add 250 grams of semolina to the pan.

Cook the semolina on low heat for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring continuously.

Continue cooking until the semolina turns light golden and fragrant, about 30-40 seconds more.

Add 500 grams of sugar to the pan when the semolina is roasted and fragrant.

Pour in 1 liter of water and mix well.

Add a pinch of red color mixed in water if desired.

Add 50 grams of raisins and 20 grams of dry coconut slices, mixing continuously until the sugar is dissolved.

Cook on low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, until the mixture thickens and the semolina grains swell, about 2-3 minutes.

Once the mixture is thickened and the water has evaporated, serve the halwa on a plate, garnishing with crushed almonds.
