3 Tbsp Warm Milk
Dry fruits (Almonds, Raisins, Cashews) as required

Add ghee to a pan.

Add almonds, raisins, and cashews. Fry the nuts for less than one minute, then take them out and set aside.

Add fine semolina (suji) and roast on medium low flame until the color changes and it becomes fragrant.

Add water (3 cups) and mix well.

Cover with a lid and cook on medium low flame for 5 to 6 minutes.

Remove the lid and stir the mixture.

Add finely ground cardamom (elaichi) and mix.

Soak saffron strands in warm milk (3 Tbsp) and add to the mixture.

Add sugar (half cup), stir, and mix well.

Let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.

Add the fried nuts back into the halwa.
