1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tbs salt
3 tsp garlic powder or (fresh minced garlic)
1 tbs soy sauce
1 cup Coke or Pepsi
1 cup pineapple juice
1/2 tbs ground black pepper
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 tsp powdered annatto seed (Achuete Powder)

Remove meal sized portion and bring to boil in pot (Add a few teaspoons water if mixture is too thick). Boil 10-15 minutes or until most of liquid evaporates and meat is lightly coated with marinade.

Transfer to pan and fry on medium high heat until meat chars slightly, turning a few times.
