Instructions
- 1Heat ghee in a non-stick pan over medium heat until melted.
- 2Add milk powder and mix well until combined.
- 3Pour in condensed milk and stir continuously until the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
- 4Add sugar and cardamom powder, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.
- 5Cook the mixture until it leaves the sides of the pan, about 8-10 minutes.
- 6Remove from heat and add chopped nuts and saffron strands, mixing well.
- 7Grease a plate with ghee and pour the mixture onto it, spreading evenly.
- 8Press down firmly to flatten the mixture.
- 9Allow to cool for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- 10Cut into squares or diamond shapes.
- 11Garnish with additional chopped nuts if desired.

- 5Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool slightly.
- 6Grease a plate or tray with ghee.
- 7Pour the mixture onto the greased plate and spread it evenly with a spatula.
- 8Sprinkle the chopped nuts on top and gently press them into the mixture.
- 9Allow the burfi to cool completely and set for about 1-2 hours.
- 10Once set, cut into squares or diamond shapes and serve.

- 7Once thickened, add the chopped nuts and mix well.
- 8Transfer the mixture to a greased plate or tray, spreading it evenly.
- 9Allow it to cool for a few minutes, then cut into squares or diamond shapes.
- 10Let it cool completely before serving.
