Clean the button mushrooms using 2 teaspoons of flour to remove dirt by gently rubbing them.
Wash the mushrooms thoroughly under running water, at least 2-3 times, to ensure all dirt is removed.
Slice the mushrooms thinly using a knife, being careful not to break their shape.
Chop one medium onion roughly.
Heat a pan on high flame, then reduce to medium heat and add 2 teaspoons of white oil to grease the pan.
Add the chopped onion to the pan and sauté until it turns brown.
Add a small amount of salt to the onions while cooking to enhance flavor, considering that salted butter will be used later.
Once the onions are brown, add 90% of the mushrooms to the pan and sauté them on high flame for 2-3 minutes until the moisture evaporates.
Transfer the sautéed mushrooms and onions to another bowl and let them cool down.
In a mixer grinder, add 3 tablespoons of soaked cashews and the cooled mushroom-onion mixture, and blend into a paste, adding water as needed for consistency.
In the same pan, melt 1-1.5 cubes of butter on medium heat, then add 1-1.5 teaspoons of minced garlic and sauté until golden brown.
Add the remaining 10% of the mushrooms to the garlic butter and sauté on high flame until they are nicely browned.
Combine the mushroom paste with the sautéed mushrooms in the pan.
Adjust the consistency of the soup by adding water as needed, keeping it semi-thick.
Add a pinch of black pepper and adjust salt according to taste, considering the salted butter used.
Cover the pan and let the soup simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, uncover the pan to check the soup, which should have a creamy texture without any cream used.
