½ tsp cinnamon
60g chopped walnuts
125g filo pastry

In a large bowl combine the butter, egg, sugar and mix until combined.

Fold in the ground almonds, walnuts, cinnamon, flour, orange zest, rose water and vanilla extract.

On a flat surface layer out the filo pastry sheets making sure you overlap them. Brush with butter.

Spoon out the filling and roll in the sheets as loose as possible.

Roll the serpent up to form a sung coil.

Brush again with butter and bake in the oven at 180C for 20min or until golden brown.

Dust with icing sugar and top with your favorite ice cream.
