Heat a pan on the gas and add 2 cups of milk to it.
While the milk is heating, mix 2 tablespoons of custard powder in 1/2 cup of cold milk until well combined.
Once the milk is hot, slowly add the custard mixture while stirring continuously to prevent lumps.
Add 2 tablespoons of sugar to the custard milk and cook until thickened.
Let the custard milk cool for half an hour.
In a tray, layer fresh cream, sprinkle powdered sugar, and soak the bread lightly in milk.
Add rose syrup generously over the soaked bread.
Coat the bread with the custard milk mixture and repeat the layering process with more bread, cream, sugar, and milk.
Press down to remove any air pockets and ensure layers are compact.
Decorate the top with chopped walnuts and almonds.
Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours to set before serving.
Cut into pieces and serve with chilled milk and rose syrup.
