Beef Sticky Buns

In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

In a skillet, cook the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until the beef is browned. Drain excess fat.

Stir in barbecue sauce, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.

Spread the beef mixture evenly over the dough, then sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.

Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 12 equal pieces. Place the pieces in a greased baking dish.

Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
