1

Cut off the claws from the chicken feet and clean them thoroughly.

2

Pressure cook the chicken feet for about 15 minutes.

3

In another pot, boil chicken (leg and thigh).

4

Remove some water from the pot to prevent overflow when adding provisions.

5

Add pumpkin to the pot first and skim off excess fat from the surface of the soup.

6

After about 5 minutes, add dumplings made from flour and cornmeal to the pot.

7

After another 5 minutes, add yam and cut them into bite-sized pieces.

8

Boil for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent dumplings from sticking to the bottom.

9

Crush some pumpkin in the pot for color and richness.

10

Break up the cooked chicken into smaller pieces after it's cooked.

11

After 5-6 minutes, add thyme tied together, crushed pimento, scallions, and scotch bonnet pepper to the pot.

12

After another 5-6 minutes, add noodle soup (Grace brand) to the pot, using 1.5 packets per liter of liquid.

13

Mix the noodle soup in a cup with some liquid, strain it, and add it to the pot.

14

Let the soup simmer for about 8 minutes until ready.

15

Remove thyme, scallions, and scotch bonnet pepper before serving.
