5 Medium Onions
Salt to Taste (Recipe used 1.5 Tsp)
1 Tbsp Cumin Seeds
1 Tbsp Ginger
1 Tbsp Garlic
4 Dry Curry Leaves
1.5 Tbsps Basaar Mix or Red Chilli Powder
1 Kg Boneless Chicken Breasts
2 Small Tomatoes
1 Tbsp Tomato Puree
1 Tbsp Coriander Powder
1 Tbsp Garam Masala
2 Green Chillies
½ Red Bell Pepper
½ Green Bell Pepper
½ Yellow Bell Pepper
1 Glass Boiled Water
Fresh Coriander for Garnishing

Heat oil in a pan and add in the onions.

Brown the onions off on a high heat, when slightly soft add in the salt.

Continue to cook, when onions turn lightly golden add in the cumin seeds.

As the onions turn golden brown add in the ginger and garlic and brown off really well.

Add in dry curry leaves and basaar mix. Mix well and cook for 2 mins.

Add in the chicken and cook on a high heat until fully white.

Add in the tomatoes and reduce the liquid left from the chicken.

Add in tomato puree and coriander powder and continue to reduce the liquid.

When the liquid has evaporated turn down the heat and you will see the oil start to separate.

Add in half the garam masala, green chillies and bell peppers, mix well and cook for 10 mins.

Add in water and simmer for 10 mins.

Finish with garam masala and fresh coriander.
