1

Prepare all ingredients: chicken tikka, bell peppers, onion, mixed powder, chili powder, fresh chilies, coriander stalks, garlic and ginger paste, tomato puree, garam masala, and seasoned oil.

2

Heat about 1.5 to 2 tablespoons of seasoned oil in a curry house style pan over medium-high heat.

3

Add sliced onions and bell peppers to the pan and stir-fry for a couple of minutes until they are slightly cooked but still crunchy.

4

Add a tiny bit of salt to the onions and bell peppers to help bring out moisture and enhance flavor.

5

Add about 10 coriander stalks and three green finger chilies to the pan, adjusting the amount of chilies based on spice preference.

6

Stir in about 1 tablespoon of garlic and ginger paste and cook for about 30 seconds to remove the raw flavor.

7

Add about half a cup of tomato puree to the pan and mix well.

8

Stir in chili powder and mixed powder (or Madras curry powder) to the mixture.

9

Add the cooked chicken tikka and a splash of base curry sauce to the pan, mixing everything well.

10

Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more salt or lime juice as needed. If desired, add more base curry sauce for extra liquid.

11

Scrape the caramelized sauce from the sides of the pan back into the curry for added flavor.

12

Once heated through, the curry is ready to serve.
