Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Whisk eggs and sugar in a bowl until pale and fluffy.
Sift together plain flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
Gently fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture until combined.
Spread the batter evenly onto the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the cake springs back when touched.
Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes.
Invert the cake onto a clean kitchen towel dusted with powdered sugar.
Peel off the parchment paper and roll the cake with the towel from the short side.
Let the rolled cake cool completely while wrapped in the towel.
Meanwhile, melt chocolate and mix with cream until smooth.
Unroll the cooled cake and spread the chocolate mixture evenly over the surface.
Re-roll the cake tightly without the towel.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
