Add the soaked vermicelli to the skillet; toss to coat in the sauce.
Season with salt, black pepper, and chili flakes to taste.
Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
Garnish with chopped spring onions and bean sprouts before serving.
