They embody the Swedish love for simple yet delicious baked goods, often featuring ingredients like oats and nuts. Melt 3 sticks of butter, one stick at a time, in the microwave.
Let melted butter sit for 20 minutes to cool down.
Dissolve 1 teaspoon of baking soda in a small amount of water.
In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup brown sugar and 1 cup white granulated sugar.
Add the melted butter to the sugar mixture and mix for about 4 minutes until fluffy.
Add 2 cups of cake flour and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon to the mixture and mix well.
Add the dissolved baking soda to the mixture and combine.
Add 1 egg and 1 egg yolk to the mixture and mix until well combined.
Fold in 1 cup of milk chocolate chips, 1 cup of white chocolate chips, and 1 cup of pecans.
Add 2 tablespoons of honey and 1/4 teaspoon of chili powder to the mixture and mix until incorporated.
Scoop the cookie dough onto a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven until golden brown.
