Guava Jam

¾ cup castor sugar
A pinch of red chilli powder

Peel the guavas and roughly chop them and transfer them in a nonstick pan.

Heat the pan, add salt and sugar, cook till the guava softens. Set aside to cool completely.

Transfer the guava mixture to a blender jar and blend to a smooth paste.

Strain the jam and store in an air tight container and use as required.
