Today, they are a staple in many bakeries and home kitchens worldwide, with countless variations that cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.

White sugar can be used in place of brown sugar without significant flavor loss.
Melt 200 grams of Butter and 200 grams of Dark Chocolate together in a bowl over a bamarie (water bath), stirring occasionally until fully melted.
Remove the bowl from heat once the mixture is melted.
Add 4 Eggs to the melted mixture, one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
Stir in 1 tablespoon of Vanilla Essence.
Add 360 grams of Light Brown Sugar and whisk until combined.
Sieve in 260 grams of All Purpose Flour, followed by 1 teaspoon of Baking Powder and 1 teaspoon of Salt, and whisk everything together until smooth.
Pour the brownie mixture into a chilled buttered pan and tap it on the surface to remove air bubbles.
Chill the pan in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius (320 degrees Fahrenheit).
Bake the chilled brownie mixture in the oven for 40 minutes.
To make the Caramel Sauce, pour Sugar into a pan over high flame and spread it out to melt.
Once melted, at a safe distance, pour in Cream and immediately mix the Caramel and Cream together.
Remove the Caramel from heat and mix in a little bit of Butter.
Pour the Caramel Sauce into a container to stop it from cooking further in the hot pan.
Allow the Caramel Sauce to cool for 10 minutes before cutting the brownies.
Trim the edges of the brownies and cut them into pieces.
