Dubai Chocolate Brownies

These brownies combine traditional chocolate flavors with local ingredients, creating a unique twist on a classic treat. Today, they are enjoyed not only in the UAE but also around the world, often featuring variations with nuts and spices.
Prepare the Duncan Hines brownie mix according to package instructions, which require 2 eggs, 1/3 cup oil, and 1/4 cup water.
Scoop the brownie batter into a silicone mini loaf pan using an Asian soup spoon, filling each compartment with two scoops.
Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake for 20 minutes, checking every couple of minutes after that.
Perform the toothpick test to check for doneness; if it comes out clean, remove from the oven and place on a cooling rack.
In a pan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat and add 2 cups of kadf (pistachios) to brown them.
Once the pistachios are golden brown, let them cool for a couple of minutes before adding the jar of pistachio nut butter and mixing well.
Blend the remaining pistachios in a blender to crush them for topping the brownies.
Spread the pistachio cream mixture on top of each brownie after they have cooled.
To make the chocolate ganache, heat 1 cup of heavy whipping cream in the microwave in 30-second intervals until slightly steaming.
Add 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips to the warm cream and stir until smooth, ensuring there are no lumps.
Pour the ganache over the brownies and sprinkle the crushed pistachios on top.
Let the brownies sit at room temperature for a couple of hours to firm up the ganache, or refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Remove the brownies from the silicone mold and cut them into squares for serving.
