Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
Cut the pastry into squares or circles, about 4 inches wide.
Spread a layer of guava paste in the center of each pastry piece.
Add a dollop of cream cheese on top of the guava paste.
Fold the pastry over to create a triangle or half-moon shape.
Seal the edges by pressing with a fork or your fingers.
Beat the egg with water to create an egg wash.
Brush the egg wash over the tops of the pastries.
Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top for added sweetness.
Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 20-25 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
