If you don't have a steamer basket, create a ring or triangle out of foil to keep the eggs off the bottom of the pot.

Add 1 cup of water to the Instant Pot for a three-quart pot or 1.5 cups for an eight-quart pot.

Place the lid on the Instant Pot and turn the knob to sealing.

Set the Instant Pot to cook on high pressure for 2 minutes.

After 2 minutes, allow for a natural pressure release for 13 to 15 minutes.

Once the natural pressure release is complete, open the lid and remove the steamer basket with the eggs.

Rinse the eggs under cold water immediately after cooking.

Fill the pot with cold water and ice to cool the eggs down quickly.

Let the eggs cool completely for about 10 to 15 minutes before peeling.
