Egg whites reduce cholesterol while providing protein.

Take one cup of water and pour it into the Instant Pot.

Place the first layer of the egg holder in the pot.

Put nine eggs in the holes of the egg holder.

Attach the top layer of the egg holder and place nine more eggs on it.

Secure the lid on the Instant Pot and ensure it's in the sealing position.

Press the pressure cook or manual button and set it for six minutes at high pressure.

After six minutes, allow for a six-minute natural release without doing anything.

Once the six minutes are up, perform a quick release of the pressure.

Transfer the eggs to an ice bath in a bowl of cold water with ice cubes for about two minutes.

Peel the eggs by tapping the bottom and top of each egg to remove the shell easily.

Cut through an egg to show it is perfectly cooked.

For egg salad, mash about nine eggs with one-third cup of mayonnaise.
