Add 1 cup of cold water to the inner pot of the Instant Pot.

Place the trivet in the Instant Pot and lay eggs carefully on top of the rack.

Ensure the vent knob is pointed towards sealed, not venting.

Set cook time for 5 minutes on high pressure using the manual or pressure cook button.

Prepare an ice bath while the eggs are cooking.

After 5 minutes of cook time, let the Instant Pot sit for 5 minutes for natural pressure release.

Release any remaining pressure by using a long utensil to turn the vent knob from sealed to venting position.

Open the Instant Pot and immediately place the eggs into the ice bath for 5 minutes.

After cooling, either refrigerate the eggs in an old egg carton for up to 7 days or peel immediately for use within 3 days.
