Homemade Soft Pretzels
Preheat the oven.
Slice the raw potatoes thinly.
Layer the potato slices in a muffin tin or silicone muffin form.
Mix together the cream, milk, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Pour the mixture over the layered potatoes.
Top with grated cheese if desired, being careful not to burn it.
Bake until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden.
