Pour sugar into lukewarm water and mix until dissolved.
Add instant yeast to the sugar and water mixture and mix well.
Set aside the yeast mixture for 5 minutes to activate.
Peel the ripe bananas and blend them in a food processor until smooth.
Add the activated yeast mixture to the blended bananas and mix.
In the food processor, add flour, sugar, and salt to the banana mixture and mix for 2-3 minutes until combined.
Cover the batter and let it sit for 45 minutes to rise.
Heat vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat.
Mix the batter to reduce its size before frying.
Scoop portions of the batter into the hot oil, ensuring they float to the top.
Reduce the heat from high to medium to ensure even cooking.
Fry until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Remove the puff puff from the oil and drain on paper towels.
