Mash ripe bananas in a bowl until smooth.
Combine flour, sugar, yeast, salt, nutmeg, and baking powder in a large mixing bowl.

Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Serve warm, optionally dusted with powdered sugar.
