1

Wash the collard greens thoroughly under running water.

2

Remove the top stems from the collard greens and keep the leafy parts.

3

Pack the leaves together and cut them into smaller pieces safely.

4

Drain the collard greens in a colander.

5

In a bowl, mix vinegar and water to soak the greens for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

6

In a pot, add 2 cups of water and bring it to a boil.

7

Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, red and green bell peppers, seasoning cube, salt, black pepper, and optional white pepper to the pot.

8

Stir the ingredients gently and cover the pot, allowing it to cook for about 30 minutes.

9

After 30 minutes, check the pot and remove the turkey to prevent it from overcooking.

10

Add the collard greens to the pot and stir to combine.

11

Cover the pot and cook the collard greens until they are tender, stirring occasionally.

12

After cooking, add the remaining bell peppers for color and serve.
