1 large egg
1/3 cup of milk (78 ml)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract, optional (2 ml)
1 Large apple, diced into small chunks
1/2 cup granulated sugar (100 g)
1/3 cup of all-purpose flour (42 g)
1/4 cup of softened butter (57 g)
1 tsp of ground cinnamon (4 g)

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

In another bowl, whisk together the canola oil, egg, milk, and vanilla extract.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
