Plain yogurt - 2 tbsp
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli flakes - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Dry Oregano - 1/2 tsp
Paprika powder - 1 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp or to taste
Ginger & garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Oil - 1 tbsp (optional)
Tomato sauce/puree - 2tbsp (for color)

Take boneless chicken breasts and split them in half by gently running the knife through to do a split.

Cover chicken with plastic wrap. Next, use a rolling pin or a meat mallet to make thin and even pieces of chicken.

In a bowl, take 2 tbsp plain yogurt, 1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp oil, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp black pepper, ½ tsp turmeric powder, and 1 tsp paprika powder.

Then add ½ tsp red chili flakes, ½ tsp dry oregano, 1 tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp garam masala, and 2 tbsp tomato sauce or puree for color. Mix well.

Pour marinade over the chicken and rub to coat both sides.

Marinade chicken for at least an hour or overnight in the fridge.

Now heat and oil a grill pan or a regular pan.

Add marinated chicken one piece at a time.

Grill on high heat for 2 minutes.

Turn over the chicken and brush leftover marinade on top.

Cover and cook for 5 minutes on low heat.

Turn the chicken to the other side and apply the rest of the marinade.
