500g ground beef or lamb
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 egg
2 tbsp olive oil for frying

In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, breadcrumbs, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, black pepper, and egg.

Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.

Shape the mixture into small oval or round balls, about the size of a golf ball.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the koftas to the skillet in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.
