1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 tbsp lemon juice
4 burger buns
Lettuce leaves, for serving
Sliced tomatoes, for serving

In a large bowl, combine the boiled and mashed potatoes, bread crumbs, boiled and mashed green peas, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder, salt, chopped cilantro, and lemon juice.

Mix all the ingredients well until they form a smooth mixture.

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into round patties.

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add a little oil.

Once the oil is hot, place the patties in the pan and cook until they are golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.

While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns lightly on another pan or in a toaster.

Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a cooked aloo tikki patty, sliced tomatoes, and onions.

Spread ketchup or chutney on the top half of the bun and place it on top of the assembled burger.
