Measure 3 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour and add to a bowl.
Add 3 tablespoons of butter and mix.
Pour in 1/2 cup of milk and add 2 teaspoons of dry yeast and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
Add water until you reach the right consistency for the dough.
Cover the dough with clean film or a towel and let it rest.
For the filling, measure 500 grams of minced beef and an equivalent volume of white onion.
Chop 2 garlic cloves and add to the beef mixture with 1 tablespoon of paprika and 1 tablespoon of cumin powder.
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a frying pan and sauté the onion until translucent, about 10 minutes.
Add the minced beef and cook until it loses its red color and begins to brown.
Melt 1 cup of chicken stock in a cup of hot water and add it to the beef.
Let the mixture cook for another 5-6 minutes, then add a little flour to thicken it.
Let the filling cool down while the dough rests.
Boil 2 eggs for 8 minutes, cool them down, peel, and chop them.
Chop some black olives and prepare to build the empanadas.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface, making sure it doesn't dry out.
Cut the dough into circles and add filling, including chopped eggs and olives.
Moisten the edges of the dough with water, fold, and seal the empanadas.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the empanadas until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
