1

Heat milk in a saucepan until warm, then dissolve yeast in it.

2

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.

3

Add melted butter, eggs, and the yeast mixture to the dry ingredients.

4

Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface until smooth, about 5-7 minutes.

5

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.

6

Roll out the dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.

7

Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, nuts, and raisins.

8

Roll the dough tightly into a log, then shape it into a ring and pinch the ends to seal.

9

Place the ring on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

10

Make cuts along the outer edge of the ring, about halfway through, to create flaps.

11

Cover and let rise again for about 30 minutes.

12

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

13

Bake the ring for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.

14

Let cool on a wire rack before glazing.

15

Mix powdered sugar with water and vanilla extract to make a glaze.

16

Drizzle the glaze over the cooled tea ring.
