1/2 cup Heinz ketchup
1/3 cup fresh squeezed lime juice
2 to 4 tablespoons hot sauce (Tobasco, Valentina, or Buffalo)
1 small white onion

Bring a pot of water to a low boil.

Add 2 tablespoons of salt to the boiling water gradually until it tastes like the sea.

Add 1 pound of small shrimp to the boiling water and stir to ensure even cooking.

Wait for the water to return to a boil, then turn off the heat.

Pour off the water to drain the shrimp, being careful not to lose any.

Place the cooked shrimp into ice water to stop the cooking process.

In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup of Heinz ketchup and 1/3 cup of fresh squeezed lime juice.
