Stir in sliced mushrooms and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce; simmer for 10 minutes until thickened.
Season mixture with salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley; remove from heat.
Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface to fit your pie dish.
Place half the pastry in the pie dish and fill with the beef mixture.
Top with shredded cheddar cheese, then cover with the remaining pastry.
Seal the edges and cut slits in the top for steam to escape.
Brush the top with beaten egg for a golden finish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.
