Add grated carrot, peas, beef stock, Worcestershire sauce, and tomato paste; simmer for 10 minutes.
Season with salt, black pepper, and herbs; remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Roll out puff pastry and line a pie dish with half of it.
Fill the pastry with the meat mixture and sprinkle cheese on top.
Cover with remaining pastry, sealing edges well.
Cut slits in the top for steam to escape.
Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
