besan or gram flour - 1 1/4 cup
rice flour - 2 tbsp
red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
baking soda - 1/4 tsp
salt to taste
cumin seeds - 1 tsp
water - 1 1/2 cup
oil for deep fry

In a bowl, combine besan (gram flour), rice flour, red chilli powder, baking soda, cumin seeds, and salt.

Add water gradually to the dry ingredients and mix until a smooth batter forms.

Dip the sliced potatoes into the batter until they are well coated.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.

Once the oil is hot, carefully add the coated potato slices to the oil.

Fry the potato slices until they are golden brown and crispy.

Remove the pakodas from the oil and drain on paper towels.
