Take 1.5 kg of frozen kale from the freezer.

Prepare potatoes, which will be cooked later.

Heat butter in a large pot over medium heat (4 out of 6).

Add diced onions and smoked bacon to the pot, sauté for 3-5 minutes until softened.

Pour in about 750 ml of water and cover the pot with a lid.

Let it simmer for 30 minutes.

While the kale is cooking, peel and boil the potatoes (not shown in detail).

After 30 minutes, check the kale, which should have wilted significantly.

Add salt, sugar, and black pepper to taste, along with a teaspoon of mustard.

Add 5-6 tablespoons of fine oats to the pot, stirring to combine.

Cut the smoked sausage (Pinkel) and remove the skin, then mash the sausage meat.

Add the mashed sausage to the kale mixture and stir well.

Place the sausage pieces back into the pot, cover, and let it cook for another 45 minutes.
