Transfer sliced apples to a large bowl.

4

Toss apples with 2 tbsp of lemon juice.

5

Add 1/3 cup of light brown sugar to the apples and crumble it to remove lumps.

Sprinkle in 1 tbsp of cornstarch, 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, 1/4 tsp of nutmeg, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract into the apple mixture and toss to combine.
