Milk - 1.5 cups
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon powder and salt in a large mixing bowl.

Add milk in portions and whisk the batter.

The mixture should be of a pancake batter consistency.

Add vanilla and mix it well.

Remove the syrup from the canned pineapple and spread the pineapple chunks onto a baking tray.

Pour the batter over the pineapple.

Place the tray into the oven preheated to 190° C and bake the cobbler for 35 to 40 minutes or until the toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
