💰Cheaper: peanut butter
Sunflower seed butter is nut-free and offers a similar creamy texture.
olive oil
🥗Healthier: avocado oil
💰Cheaper: canola oil
Canola oil is more affordable and has a neutral flavor.
Drain the liquid from the chickpeas.
Add chickpeas to the food processor.
Add almond butter to the food processor.
Add freshly squeezed lemon juice to the food processor.
Soften garlic cloves in boiling hot water for a few minutes, then add to the food processor.
Add salt to the food processor.
Add roasted almond oil to the food processor.
Blend until smooth.
Taste the hummus and add water or lemon juice to thin it out if desired.
Dust the top with sweet and smoky paprika.
Pour additional roasted almond oil on top.
