1

Add 2 cups of hard yellow or white wheat berries to soaking bags.

2

Rinse the wheat berries under running water and place them in a jug.

3

Fill the jug with water until the seeds are covered and soak for about 8 hours.

4

After soaking, pour off the water and rinse the wheat berries.

5

Place the rinsed wheat berries back into the container for sprouting.

6

Rinse the wheat berries morning and night for a couple of days until they sprout about a quarter inch.

7

After about 4 days, once the sprouts are visible, rinse the wheat berries again.

8

Fill the container with about 2 L of filtered water and let it ferment at room temperature for 48 hours.

9

After 24 hours of fermentation, observe bubbles forming on the surface of the liquid.

10

After 48 hours, stir the mixture to mix any sediment from the bottom.

11

Pour the liquid into a glass jar for storage in the fridge.

12

Refill the container with water to make a second batch of rejuvelac after the first is poured off.

13

After 24 hours of the second batch fermenting, squeeze the wheat berries to extract a milky substance if desired.

14

Stir the mixture and pour it into a serving jug.
