1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon green chili paste

Combine 1 cup cornflour and 1 cup gram flour in a mixing bowl.

Add 1 cup yogurt and 1 cup water to the flour mixture and mix well until smooth.

Add 1 tablespoon kasuri methi, 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon sugar to the batter and mix again.

Let the batter ferment for 6 hours in a warm place.

After fermentation, add 1 teaspoon baking soda and mix gently.

Grease a steaming tray with oil and pour the batter into it.

Prepare a steamer and bring water to a boil.

Place the tray in the steamer and cover it with a lid.

Steam the batter for 10-15 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

In a small bowl, mix 1 teaspoon red chili powder and 1 teaspoon cumin powder with 1 tablespoon oil to make a tempering.

Once the dhokla is steamed, pour the tempering over it evenly.
