Marinate the lamb shanks with onion powder, garlic granules, black pepper, grated ginger, salt, turmeric, minced garlic in oil, curry powder, cumin powder, and cooking oil.
Take the marinated lamb shanks out of the fridge 15-20 minutes before cooking.
Prepare the vegetables: chop 3 stalks of celery, 3 large carrots, and 1 onion, and gather some rosemary.
Heat a pan on the stove and add rapeseed oil to prevent the lamb shanks from sticking.
Add the chopped vegetables and rosemary to the pan and sauté them together.
Add 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour to the vegetables and mix well.
Pour in the red wine to deglaze the pan, mixing everything together until well combined.
Transfer the vegetable mixture over the lamb shanks in the cooking pot.
Cook the lamb shanks until they are fully cooked and falling apart, then serve with mashed potatoes and the cooking juices.
