1 pound coarsely chopped baby bella mushrooms
3 medium potatoes
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup grated carrots
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup cream

Bring 1.5 quarts of water to a boil.

Add the mushrooms, salt, and pepper, and let it simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes.
