1 whole chicken on the bone cut into medium pieces (approx 1.2kg in weight)
500g fresh tomatoes roughly chopped
400g or 2 medium onions finely sliced
200g yoghurt
200ml double cream
4 tablespoon oil
2 tablespoons of unsalted butter (30g)
1/4 heaped teaspoon of red food colouring
1/4 teaspoon salt
fresh coriander to garnish
oil to fry
2 tablespoons each of fresh ginger and garlic paste
1.5 tablespoons of dried fenugreek leaves
4 green chillies (optional)
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of garam masala
1 teaspoon of chaat masala
1 teaspoon of black pepper powder
1 teaspoon of cumin powder
2 teaspoons of kashmiri chilli powder
2 tablespoons of coriander powder
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of kashmeri chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon of red chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon of turmeric
