Coconut oil - 2 tbsp
Garlic chopped - 2 tbsp
Ginger chopped - 2 tbsp
Green chilli - 3
Onion chopped - 2 medium
Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
Bay leaf - 1
Cardamom - 4 or 5 pieces
Cloves - 6 pieces
Cinnamon stick - 1 inch
Pepper powder - 1 tbsp
Thin coconut milk - 1 cup
Thick coconut milk - 1 cup
Potato - 1 large boiled
Peas, beans & carrots - 1 cup
Salt - 1 1/2 tsp

Heat oil and add the whole spices

Add the ginger, garlic and green chillies and saute for 2 mins

Add the onions and curry leaves and cook till light brown

Add pepper and cook for a min and add the chicken and coat the chicken with the masala

Add the thin coconut milk and 1 tsp salt and cover and cook the chicken for 10 mins

Add the veggies and salt and cook for another 5 mins covered

Add the 1/2 tsp salt and thick coconut milk and simmer for 2 mins

Your stew is ready to be served. Pair it with palappam, iddi appam or bread
