black cardamom ( badi elaichi ) : 2
bayleaf ( tej patta ) : 2
ginger garlic green chilli paste : ( 2 green chilli, 5-6 garlic cloves, 1 inch ginger )
onions : 250 gms ( 4-5 )
tomato paste : 2 tomatoes
coriander powder : 2 tbsp
turmeric powder : 1 tbsp
garam masala : 1 tsp
fresh coriander

Add cumin seeds, coriander seeds, cloves, black pepper, black cardamom, and bayleaf, and sauté until fragrant.

Pour in water or coconut milk if needed and bring to a simmer.
