2 tablespoons chicken bouillon powder
dash of Mexican oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 can Rotel, drained
1 cup tomato puree
2 to 2.5 tablespoons chili powder
2 cans pinto beans, drained
2 cans black beans, drained
2 fresh bay leaves (optional)
1.5 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
1.5 teaspoons sugar

In a 4.5 quart crock pot, add 2 pounds of lean ground turkey.

Add 4 cloves of minced garlic, 1 chopped small onion, and 1 chopped small bell pepper.

Add 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 1/4 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes, and 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of ground cumin.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, 1.5 teaspoons of smoked paprika, and 2 tablespoons of chicken bouillon powder.

Add a dash of Mexican oregano and 1/2 teaspoon of salt; mix everything together.

Add 1 can of drained Rotel and 1 cup of tomato puree.

Add 2 to 2.5 tablespoons of chili powder and mix well, breaking apart the turkey as needed.

Add 2 cans of drained pinto beans and 2 cans of drained black beans; cover with a lid.

Set the slow cooker on high and cook for about 4.5 to 5 hours, or on low for 6 to 8 hours.

After about 1.5 hours, stir the chili to help break apart the turkey.

At 3.5 hours, stir again and taste for seasoning; add 1.5 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and 1.5 teaspoons of sugar if needed.

After 5 hours, check that the turkey is cooked and the chili is ready to serve.
