1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Heat a Dutch oven over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, add 2 cups of Great Northern beans and mix in.

Season with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper to taste, letting it simmer for another 20 minutes.
